Who We Are
The Children's Therapy Center provides educational and therapeutic services for children with severe developmental disabilities. A multi-sensory approach is utilized in a nurturing and caring environment to enrich the lives of our students and maximize their potential while lending support to their families.
The Center was incorporated as the Cerebral Palsy Center of Bergen County, NJ, on March 29, 1950. It was created as a Center for children with Cerebral Palsy but over the past half-century it has grown to provide advanced therapies and education to over 300 special needs children. These children face physical, medical and developmental challenges.
Miss Laurie Gets A Haircut From Her Pre-School Class -
Her Hair To Be
Donated To Charity!
In honor of breast cancer awareness month and the class’s weekly theme of "community helpers," students experienced cutting Miss Laurie Laughton’s hair with the help of a professional hairdresser. Miss Laurie’s hair was donated to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. This program was created to bring people together to share their strength and donate their hair to create free wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
